Watters Ball
The first Watters Electrical Ball was held in 1997 as a way of bringing electrical contractors, suppliers, and their partners together in a festive environment. The night has proved to be a much anticipated event on the social calendar. Since 2001, the night has also provided the perfect opportunity to raise money for a nominated charity. From 2001 to 2005 Watters Electrical raised $100,000 for the MS Society.
In 2006 and 2007 all monies raised went to Challenge-supporting kids with Cancer ($75,000)
The date is set for the 2008 Watters Ball. Once again we look forward to a fun filled night with lots of wining dining and dancing.
This year all monies raised will go Variety the children’s charity

Child & Family Care Network Inc Day (CFCN Day)
Descended from the Burwood Boys' Home, Child and Family Care Network Inc. has more than 100 years history of caring for the special needs of children, youth and families. The emphasis of all programs is early intervention with the focus being that of children. CFCN support them as individuals and provide services to strengthen their families and communities.
October 2005 saw 37 of our electricians give up their rostered day off to fully wire Stage 1 of the Children’s Centre. With so many hands on deck, the entire stage was wired in less than half a day. In one morning over 7 kilometres of data cable and 3 kilometres of electrical cable was laid. Approximately $12,000 worth of goods and services were donated.
